According to the dealer it has made it to D status, and we have a VIN. That's with two weeks since ordering.
Hopefully they have cleared that wreck off the assembly line by now and production can resume.

For many years I wanted to buy a hearse, or maybe an ambulance.
But I'm over that now.

No idea what the next purchase might be. They just happen.
For example, a few months ago I never imagined owning a tunnel washer. Especially since I didn't even know they existed.

It blows my mind that someone would pay $50k for that!

Yeah, really. Bet it didn't even have 3rd row seating or a touch screen.

It has jump seats, in the back, for ambulance personnel.

May I suggest this?

I dunno. Aside from having too many doors, I can only imagine how much fun it wouldn't be to drive through the switchbacks on the roads around here.
Would definitely need a spinner on the steering wheel.

Then again, I'm kinda lusting for a regular cab Ram 3500 or 4500 cab and chassis, with the long wheelbase.

Or cup holders. Could you imagine getting this thing sideways in some twisties?

That I could deal with. I'll never forget coming in sideways, as usual, on our little street with my '65 Cadillac for the first time. I was used to small sports cars and Jeeps.
Well, the generous rear overhang almost took out a few mailboxes as it reached across the entire sidewalk, and the much heavier car swung wider than I was used to.

So the moral of the story is that these days I'm used to larger vehicles, and would have fun getting that thing sideways.
But cup holders?? I'd just revert back to holding the beer...err, soda...between my legs.
