So I've got the issue where my Uconnect refuses to correctly sync with the GPS time (but unlike some others, my location is correct).

I'm trying to avoid the hard factory reset, but will do it if needed, I have done the soft reset a couple of time (press and hold volume/channel center buttons).

Interestingly, while the soft reset doesn't correct the GPS sync clock time, it does change the GPS time. So this seems to have some affect.

Also of note (and typical of others reporting this issue), the time sync error is NOT a full time zone, for example, one iteration was 1hr 38min.

I forget what others have done to fix this? Does this require the hard reset (13second press and hold upper right hand corner of the "phone" screen?) Or is it something else to fix it?

Taken at 2:26pm...

Update:

Upgrading from 17.11.07 to 18.45.01 fixed the clock... ...now lets just hope there aren't new and exciting things to worry about with 18.45.01... : (

Also, for anyone that might need these files, I have the following MY16 M6 firmwares: (I'm honestly not sure if they are specific to the M6 or not, and some of the files further imply that they are good for MY13 thru MY17

16.09.09
16.33.29
17.11.04
17.43.01
18.45.01 (The Uconnect site lists this as latest available for MY16 M6)

Also 17.11.07 MY15 only???

I'm willing to share, however they are 100% at user's risk and responsibility. All files downloaded directly from Uconnect for my MY16 M6 Challenger (except the 17.11.07, I'm not sure of the source of that...)

I’ll need to check WTF my ‘19 uses for software. I have never thought about it, but I always need to set my clock for the time. I just set it behind the time it is reading from something so many hours and minutes to make it right. I do that every time I disconnect the damn battery.

@BULL you are allowing the ‘16 to update? I never subscribed or ever opened anything related to communicating with Mopar on purpose myself as far as I know. So mine is lame in this respect and never really thought it could do anything better.

It never did any OTA updates, I did this manually with a USB stick

Oh! I’m not trying that. Especially after the goofy electronic stuff I tried screwing up a couple of weeks ago. We will talk soon.
