I'm going to start that turd for the first time in about two months, back it out into the sunlight and let a couple of people see it and hear it whom have not seen it in person. May even ignite its crappy race tires (R888R's) that are currently mounted up, because I can! It is also time to celebrate its first birthday. It became a car about 12 months ago this week.

I asked my HC to be patient today. Went out with my daughter to teach her to drive a manual transmission. HC a bit touchy for first lessons, but they both did great! I know manuals are a dying breed, but still a skill worth having imho.

With the excellent help of hpindys tutorial on the installation of BMR’s Cradle Lock Out Kit I knocked that out in less than 2 hrs. Nice!!!
Wheel hop seems to be a bit reduced but my drag radials are put away for the season so I won’t really know until next year. No additional nvh. 61C8A048-7EB3-44E1-AF77-E2D07DA492E4.jpeg C06E7C75-15AA-4EE7-887A-440D6A7EBBE3.jpeg

If it's no good for you, smells real bad, and has warnings all over the label, it generally means it probably works real well. LOL.
I knew a girl once that had all those characteristics ..my best buddie married her

Added the 2018 HC badge to my 15 HC Charger... then gave her a bath.

Wish I had known it was bath day, I would have brought the conditioner and the sponge.

I ogled in awe at my new RE Brembo's!!! LOL. I took the front wheel off to see if my custom spare from my '09 SRT would fit . When I took it off I was like. "wow..WOW...WOW! Those things are HUGE".(At least compared to my '09 SRT's 4 piston Brembo's). I also really dug the screen in the lower wheelwell to gulp air.
Two other things I quickly noticed: One, the sway bar is bigger than the'09 SRT. Got my calipers out and measured to make sure. '09 SRT is @1.2" and the RE at exactly 1.35. Def a substantial difference. The other which was kind of odd was that the new lug nuts are 22MM while the old ones are 21MM. All other dimensions are the same(i.e. stud size, conical angle and surface area, thread engagement). So other than aesthetics why would Mopar change outer lug nut size?.. Do some guys like big nuts?! LOL.
