u might want to make sure your msrp deal is still in place. LOTS of ppl getting the rug cut out from under them over the weekend and today on order day....massive adm increases...deals canceled etc....just sayin...

Will be out of town till Thursday...talked to the GM this morning..their allotment of one is confirmed..and all systems are go..we have a 2pm meeting to cross the T's and dot the I's Thursday...not anticipating any issues...

I'm not kidding. Even if I was rolling in it and a quarter million was not a big deal I simply could not bring myself to pay something like that for this car. Maybe I'm stupid.

If I was a billionaire and I really wanted this car I'd have already written the check. It;s not about common sense, it's about you only live once and what do I care, I'm a billionaire. I suspect I wouldn't be alone in this highly hypothetical scenario, either.

Did you see that one that killed that old lady after she tried to rescue her little dog when the alligator attacked it? Not the way I'd prefer grandma to go out. What a shame. I know the urge is to rescue the pet, but you've got to know when the odds are just too great.

Just saw a guy on book face posting his order. When asked he said he had to pony up 100k to get the allocation.

This is the selling price.

I was in my local dealer here in Kingman AZ trying to get the one allocation the owner was keeping for himself. The Sales Manager I was speaking to told me they sold the one allocation in their affiliated dealership 30 miles away for $250K over. He bragged that the Salesman made a commission of $25,000. Kind of seems real to me. NOW, I will be surprised if they guy shows up when the car lands at the dealership.........If they actually CLOSE that deal I would be surprised.

150? The Demon low mile right now is 200K.

This is a 250-300K car easy right now. And likely quite a bit more once drunkards start bidding in Kissimmee and Scotttsdae in 10 months. You can book that.

If Dodge had MSRP'ed at 150K the insane demand we are seeing wouldn't have budged an inch. Effectively they took less and gave the dealerships a MASSIVE gift, possibly to keep them engaged for the coming very dark Hornet, EV eras starting next year.

Of course, in the process they gave their loyal customers a GIANT kick to the balls. They likely are ok with that, knowing that 90% of us won't buy a fast golf cart. So HQ shrugged and let the Dealerships go wilding on the customers.

That meeting in LV was the biggest joke ever. They tried to buy off Demon owners with a 25 buck fast pass. Meanwhile, all the big money owners/dealers were paid to come to LV, drink and eat on the company dime as they sat in their cordoned off area, drank some top-shelf booze, and colluded to make +100K the standard/minimum ADM. After options, all this puts the D170 at 250K which is the minimum these things will ever trade for imo. An ironic little twist...

Nah. Unless dodge won't build dealer stock orders, come May, the unsold allocations will be built and kept in the showroom for years if necessary, until their price is met. We won't see any deals from dealers. If any window existed for fairness and sanity, it ended the day after the LV reveal.
