Using a 6.4 timing cover on the Apache block. Learned a lot from last time. Tapped and plugged the water jackets on the cover and pump. Oil drain pan bolt plus ptfe for the win!

cleaned up the dyno, broke down the crates and put my banner up

ill be assembling heads this week, block is off to machine shop now that studs are here, turbo kit is on the way, we are cleared hot for takeoff!

Heads are assembled. Learned how lap valves, use some neato spring compresson tools. Ported by MMX, 426 should breathe nicely with the Holley high ram.


Mike took time out of his busy ass day to inspect and make sure I did not F up.

Just been terribly busy, working on things! Lets start. I now do PCM upgrades! Guaranteed to work with HP Tuners.

I have a stack of PCMs and I can upgrade all model years. Video of the process incoming! Next some engine porn!

I have been taking my time, Mike has taken time out of his busy schedule to teach me. Very rewarding. Pistons, cam and heads this week! Then into the car… 😅

I am assuming you were doing the mysterious "unlock PCM" procedure? Just curious, where does one learn how do this? Never have seen the cover off one of these GPEC's - thanks for the video!

I spent a lot of hours editing hex files to figure it out. Where one learns to do this. Don’t really have a good answer. I went and took a lot of hardware hacking courses so I had some base knowledge. However best bang for the buck. Asking Grok.

Yes. All auto manufacturers by association are probably using https://www.automotivelinux.org/, AUTOSAR or QNX. However thats at the low level. You really only need the high level engineering files, these contain the correct “bytes” to do anything. Once you upgrade the bootloader the keys to kingdom are yours.

Fully have been Mia, just no energy to do anything till one day I got a bug up my ass. Started tearing car apart again.


working on re routing lines, making the trunk safe and the electronics are getting revamped, learned a lot and taking my sweet ass time this time
