It's not a Dodge. And only Dodge has Hellcat models.

It has the "Hellcat" motor.

(Remember, "Hellcat" was the motor first, "Hellcat" the trim package came afterwards....)

It does have a Hellcat engine, but that doesn't make it a Hellcat, It makes it a TRX.
Same situation with the 'Hawk.

Dodge offers Charger, Challenger, and did the Durango. Those are Hellcats, as you well know.

Sticking cat heads on something other than a Hellcat doesn't make it one. So there.

I choose to "identify" Dodge and Ram as Kissing Cousins, and if they want to have an incestuous relationship with the Hellcat motor, I'm ok with that.

Sticking a HC badge on a 6.4L?, THAT would be wrong.

so let me get this straight, To keep your translation as clean as possible.

so the TRX is the offspring of taboo relationship between dodge and ram

the hellcat engine is the seed?

So does that make the drivers, “me” like the close friends who are at the baptism and supportive of this relationship.

And you being an admin, make you the priest?

to far?

Hmm. Was it better or worse when I stuck a left-over cat head on the fender of my 3500 (where the big "C" used to be)? I may have even posted a photo of that at some point.

I guess technically Dodge screwed all of that up by calling the cars “Hellcat” and “Hellcat Redeye”. If Hellcat was in fact the motor, they wouldn’t have used it on a car with a different motor, the Redeye.

I don't think they screwed up. They just didn't anticipate the Hellcat envy.

And I know I must've posted a pic of the Limited badge I stuck on the rear lid of my 'Hawk, where the Trackhawk badge used to be.

Maybe Greg Gutfeld had already trademarked "Redeye"?

Is all semantics... part of that tendency to balloon offerings to fill the shelves and make customers feel special.

My wife's Hawk smokes my TRX. The Hawk does 0-60 in 3.4 on all season run flats and runs 11's stock. They lose some pull around 80 mph, but they can beat almost anything on the street up until then.
And I would assume the TRX smokes your Hawk when your wife is driving the TRX.

Wrong. She handled our 9 sec Challenger just fine.

Not to mention the TRX is basically a off road truck & too tall.
The TRX is not basically an off-road truck, it's an all around truck, jack of all trades. Not a pure off-road truck, nor a pure track truck, nor a pure work truck. It is a little bit of everything.

ThEse days there are videos of every sort of car beating every other car, and then more videos of that losing car beating the winning car from the other race. Seems like tons of click bait videos out there since all these guys get paid for clicks. Hellcats vs Hellcats, EVs vs Hellcats, EVs vs hypercars etc etc.

Now, if we get reputable forum members out their racing, that would be way more legit than these sponsored videos.

Correct. It's not particularly good at anything. But where the TRX shines compared to a regular pickup seems to be its ability to go fast in the dirt.

I have no desire to go fast in dirt, but do like the 702 hp. Its questionable handling is an acquired taste and can be fun, I think.

Huh, Challenger? TRX vs Hawk was the post, and I was just bustin balls - nothing more
I had a Challenger before the TRX. I just didn't find your sexist comment funny.
