Just received a message from GHF this morning and no idea on when the TB’s will be ready to shop. They offered a refund so I think I might just do it.
Kong Performance just came out with a new 108mm.
Any one hear good things about it?

Anyone hear of Frankenstein Engine Dynamics?
They specialize in everything related to engine building. Race cars,street cars, motorcycles every thing.
In the future I’m gonna upgrade my stock heads. Thitek is alway 2-3 months backed up.
Frankenstein is about 3-4 weeks.
Just curious and browsing the web.....
I am going to go by their shop Thursday and will talk with them and see what they say.

Ordered the 108mm Kong today. Last one in stock.

The is the response I received “What shops are reporting back on a mild boost combination they are seeing roughly 1.6lbs less boost and 40-45whp gains. On more aggressive configurations 45-60whp depending on supporting mods.”

That makes more sense than a 108mm TB... THANKS!!!!

I actually got a hold of Craig at Thitek through E-mail finally. He is a really nice guy just busy.
He is gonna help me get the Head package for me in the near future.
So far everyone I’ve talked too says Thitek is the best.

Well it’s been awhile since my last post and a lot has gone on. it finally showed up and shop took off the Vmp and ready to install the Kong. Tommy noticed coolant in the Magnuson snout as shown in the picture. Shop took the Maggie apart right away and found were the leak was coming from. The Maggie needed two new o-rings in the rear. Shopped around and could not find anything. Magnuson was 4 weeks out on everything back ordered on the 2650. Se we waited and still no response 🤦🏻. Then I found SuperChargers Online who specializes in Magnuson rebuilds. Took the Maggie to them and they inspected and rebuilt the SC with all new hardware and gaskets. That took 3 weeks but was worth it.

Maggie is back at the shop now and ready to install.
2nd...oil on the dip stick looked like a milky color and that means some coolant got mixed with the oil.. So now shop is going to do a engine flush a fresh oil change and filter.
I got really lucky. If Tommy never saw that coolant in the snout that morning I’d would have blown up the engine that day. We were on our way to the dyno to test out the new Kong TB. We dodged a bulliet. As of right now the car was never driven or had any strong pulls on the street so the block should be good.
I swear everything is on back order due to Covid-19.🤦🏻😬😡

Yes agreed! It did sit for sometime. Tommy at the shop would always start it up and drive it a few miles every 2 weeks or so.
Not pointing the finger at anyone but for right now I’m not very pleased with Magnuson Super Chargers customer service and back ordered 3$ parts. It sat for so long because of the back order parts from magnuson. Also because of TB issues as well. The Magnuson it self I think is a great SC just some bad o-rings. It could of happened to anyone. Today Magnuson is 4 weeks backed up on everything 🤦🏻😬😡🙄.
Super Chargers online was awesome on the inspection and repairs. I know now it was assembled correctly and ready to go.
I did ask the shop to take a look at the oil filter when they change out the bad oil. Pretty sure all is good but doesn’t hurt to check everything out just in case.
