Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

That would about match my car then with all the additions plus my 185 lbs to come out at 4800-4850. I’ve taken nothing out of my car and I don’t strip it when I take it too the track, she runs floor mats, the embroidered extra set of show mats and car cover in the trunk. My goal has always been a 10 second on the street M6 no burn out just launch on 20” street tires on a stock looking brass monkey rim. I’ve come .075 seconds from that goal so far and that was on 93, the power of corn has actually hurt things down low not helped. I need the hook up of then and the top end power of now to make it happen. The 3.90 rear sure hadn’t helped in the launching department but it livened up 3rd snd 4th, I just need to put those 2 worlds together now.

Streets too cold now to get anything down low now so I’ve got all winter for 1 more addition to help in the launch department.
That's how I do it. Everything stays in the car.
The only thing that may come out is the seat bottom to be able to fit wheels in the back.
So the seat back sits flat.
I only weighed my car once at a dot scale.

How much to port a set of stock fuel rails?
I want to retain the stock covers.
150$ For time plus return shipping cost. Its a good days work by the time their deburred and flushed clean with gasoline at a pump. Remember to prevent a big burr inside each hole that’s hard to get at to remove each hole is drilled in increments of how the bits get bigger in the drill index, each hole may require 10-15 different bit changes then taped back shut and the next one done repeat repeat repeat for 10 different holes.

I new set is about $300, if I remember, so $450 should cover it?
O, I thought you where sending yours. You going to get a set and send them?
Looks like their almost $700 for a new set?

I have a like new set, I can port them and let them go for $550 plus shipping ready to bolt on? Or you can find a set cheaper maybe and send me them?

You do run skinnies and light weight wheels? I take the front sway bar off mine to help the front lift more, it weighs 14 lbs. I did have 3 of the 4 floor mats out which is a few lbs and yesterday took the trunk mat out. I didn't take the breaker bar or air pump out (forgot at the track) My drag wheel set up saves about 70 lbs. So any Challenger with a drag wheel set up should be lighter then my TAXI which Chargers are 100 lbs more. Now if you have a sun roof it may be closer. I have heard 30-75 lbs so still don't know what a sunroof weighs. I'm around 200 lbs

Yes I run race stars front and rear. For now.
No sun roof so I can wear a helmet. LOL

The sunroof itself is very light, there may be more in the roof around it that makes it heavier… but it’s not a “significant” amount.

I unfortunately have a sunroof too, never open it, the sun shield is always closed, I’d rather the helmet room and weight savings of not having it but it is what it is. I’m telling ya my cars every bit of 4850 with me in it if not more, it’s a fat cat for sure.

She doesn't bother me about the car spending as long as it makes sense.
When I changed trailers she pushed me to buy the more expensive one.
If I keep getting frustrated with these rims she will not bother me unless I go with Weld's or something. I should be safe with Forgestars.

Look at VHS wheels. I had racestars and dumped them for these. Looks good and well priced.

Forgestar D5 beadlock 17" rears here w/18" skinnies.

Pretty slick ticket until you get to big money wheels.

Downside? Well...no one around me does beadlock wheels. So...I'll be making a drive for tire changes.
