I'm starting to think that I like these Pirellis...😳😳😳
I do not think the PZ4 evolution of the PZero's, are that bad. I am going to street them for a while and I am going to use them at the track and really attempt to give them another chance. Hell, they were hanging on good enough last May for a few laps to make my entire system fail! I really did not mind driving them around, and want to try and will do more soon.

They sure are available in many, many more sizes that are appropriate to use!

I have 4 PZ4s in the garage in 275s, 2 555r2s in 305/20 from the Charger. Looking like I'm collecting tires.😂😂😂

Or the Cup 2 for about $60 more each!

The 325/30’s? What a bargain at $516/each.

I sure looked at my six 305/35’s that are nearly new for my OEM 20’s and thought to myself Sunday, I may use these entirely up before I need to spend over $2,500 on new track tires! For starters this year, that car has the OEM wheels and 305’s installed. I am not going to even use my “bigger” rubber on the street until it gets real warm and real clean. I may use these smaller units more often on the track also. This has gotten stupid, and I don’t want to support it. I’ll wait out a Recession or damn Depression and another Election. We better not allow voting boxes to be stuffed with bullshit again either!
Prices of some tires are insane

Let’s hope this event blows over soon and it don’t get worse. Because I do not think the tire prices are consistent with the potential price increases of petrol in the past month either. Imagine nearly a grand for a tire!!! I may need to ask for a raise.

We know we purchased unique Hybrids. Burns petroleum, rubber and brake pads very efficiently and effectively.

From a daily driving standpoint, I've never had an issue with the PZeros.

But I also don't have any expectations of doing a 3sec launch with them either.

(Not that I can do a 3sec launch in an M6 at this altitude anyway...) : (

It's not about launching. It's about how they get caught in the grooves on the highway. Damn thing jerks back and forth.

I get that on both the PZeros and the PS4Ss

My wifes DSRT is worse...

I think its not only the grooves, but also the slightly wider tires than 95% of the driving public...

Does a Ferrari or Porsche handle like this?

I don't have either of those, I couldn't tell you.

But wide tires grabbing the road isn't uncommon, my truck does it to a lesser degree as well.

Reading all this makes me (kinda) glad I have a narrow body...

Just went out to see prices on the 275s. Tire Rack has Yokohama Adven Sport V105 (2018 vintage) on clearance for $131 a piece!

They probably aren't anywhere close to the PS4S or the Conti Extreme...but less than 550 for a set of four????

Very tempted...

Tweaking the alignment may help that David. Let’s talk offline if you still have a problem after finding the tire you want.

I've put the tires on the back burner for now. Tired of looking.

Yep, all of a sudden, those old Pirelli's that may just work ok, are going to get wore out before I need more rubber at these prices.
Tell ya a secret, right now, my car is wearing two of the original Pirelli's and two used Pilot Sports, with the other two nearly brand new Pirelli's on my shelf. They will be used this year! All the fancy expensive rubber on fancy wheels is stacked in the garage under lock, cameras and alarms!!

I bought 2. For a $154 you can get some newer ones so I did that. The date on them was 0219. I called them and said they might as well been from 2018 there are only 2 weeks into 19. They checked the other warehouses and they were all 2019 so the refunded me $45. With everything out of stock you would think the tires would be newer. Still happy compared to what is out there money wise

I got those on mine ( regular body HC) been on the cat 12k miles, never needed balancing ,and good grip when they were newer ,not too good in the rain, would I buy again? yes! The ride is most important ,I hate vibrations and these never had that issue.

Let me know what you think of them. I'm sure they aren't up to PS4S or DW06 levels...but if they are 80 - 90% as good at that price.....

Only bought 2 for the front so not sure I will have any feed back. I run drag radials on the rear
