It depends on what officials are there at the time. I think you can get a warning or two. I have been warned and other times I ran 9's all day. But I was not deep into the 9's. I think if you are deep into the 9's and a bunch of other guys are too it might raise some interest in the officials. But if you would be happy with a couple hits you are good to go.

If you want to do license runs you should probably OK it with Jesse first. Hit him up on FB. Or the web site I think as well.

Thanks Ron. We have a car that is under the knife right now that will be 8 second capable and the owner still needs to get his license. That’s easier said than done these days with everything shut down. We have a couple of licensed driver (including me) to do the required sign off. A number of others without the requirements that will run mid 9’s and would just like to get on a good track with good air to see a personal best before having to back off to a 10.0 dial to compete.

I noticed in the 2021 Charger RedEye press release today that car is rated at 10.6 @ 129 quarter mile. That is on Street tires and no drag suspension. I think this adds to my theory that the 10.5 @ 131 for the Super Stock is conservative.

Well you know we all really want to see a 9.99 stock tune basically as delivered car. Redeyes have gone at least down to 10.2 with just a rear tire. You would think a 133-134 mph trap speed is possible good track/good day.

Ron did you check inner wheel well spacing? That’s where my old wheels were a problem.

Marc, part of that look is just the small tire. So don't let that influence you. I plan on running this small tire when I want to set personal bests out on the road. Normally I would be on 315/50's that are 1.5" taller and now with the Super Stock I will be running the 305/45R18's that are 1" taller.

Ron did you check inner wheel well spacing? That’s where my old wheels were a problem.

It's close. But it clears with just enough room I don't think it will be a problem. Same with the Sway Bar. It clears by about 3/8" with this 6.5" back space 17" wheel. So I hope the Super Stock does not have a much different sway bar. I still have the end links just in case. I intend to run them when I am out of town trailering.

Yes and we thought so. It's way less goofy than the front with a skinny.

As of now they are Wide body only, but........

I proposed they make a SRT Super Stock Narrow body with the 1320 Rims & Tires and lug nuts for $5000 less. That setup would still be better than the Pirellis. I told them to leave the Scat Pack Brakes on it. I also said I would pay $1,595 for a true Demon front brake upgrade.


Jim said he would push this idea up the chain of command. He said when the RedEye Challenger was coming out they were only going to do a wide body version (I am guessing because they thought it needed more tire) and that he successfully pushed for a narrow body version (thank you). I really wanted a narrow body. So maybe they will offer a narrow body version of the SRT Super Stock in 2021. Too late for me though.......
